Dante Thomas，1978年3月6日出生，波兰裔。作为2007年德国选秀节目第五届“德国偶像”（DSDS——Deutschland sucht den Superstar）的候选人，从海选起就受到所有三位评委的一致认同，始终具有超高人气，一路比赛下来几乎没有遇到什么阻碍，领先每周的投票，最终夺得冠军！
来自犹他州盐湖城的的Dante Thomas高中毕业后就来到纽约追寻他歌星的梦想。经过一番奋斗终于被前流氓者三人组（Fugees）男团员之一的Pras发掘，在2001年如愿以偿地发行了首张专辑「Fly」，DanteThomas的唱腔与Jamiroquai的主唱、创作首脑JasonKay有着些许类似,音乐走向则是时下流行的R&B曲风,不过Thomas最令媒体与歌迷欣赏的是既能抓住年轻R&B的脉动,同时也有着70年代老派灵魂乐的韵味，令人回忆起黑人节奏蓝调的黄金时期。
